PERSONAL

The organisation in Danapur division is being headed by Sr. DPO (SG/IRPS) & assisted by four assistant personal Officers .The salient features of Personal Department are given below: -

Main activities of personal department are Promotion, Transfer, Recruitment, Settlement, Welfare Activities, Industrial Relation, Salary Payment enforcement of Labour Laws, Training and Development, etc.

The Sanction strength of DNR Division is 16764 (Gr’C’ = 8285, Gr.’D’ = 8539) and MOR is 14713. the major staff clusters are Patna, Danapur , Ara , Buxur, Dildarnagar, Jhajha, Kiul , Mokama, Bakhtiarpur, Jehanabad and Nawada.

In the calendar year 2003, upto November ‘ 2003 a total no. of 1076 staff have been promoted out of which 723 are from Safety Category and 353 in Non-safety category.

Pay roll system is fully computerised. It has been planned to introduce PRIME in DNR Division by 31^st March 2004. This system will not only substitute the existing COBOL based Pay-Roll system but also introduce many inter-related modules for efficient working of Personal Branch.
